The 30th WIDER Annual Lecture by Edward Miguel will examine how climate change, slower growth, and armed conflict interact in Africa and what policies could break the climate–conflict–poverty cycle. The event includes remarks from a discussant, an extended audience Q&A, and a reception for in-person attendees. It will be livestreamed for remote participants.
